Thank you so much for your ongoing prayers for Daniel Giffin and his family!
Daniel has been back at school for a couple of weeks following his radiation treatment and has his follow up MRI next Monday, May 6 to see if it worked. Please continue to pray that the MRI will show he does not have any new cancer!
Below are some other specific ways we can continue help:
GIFT CARDS – These will continue to be collected for them at the front desk.
GOFUNDME – Financial help for medical and related expenses.
Thank you for your prayers for Schafer as he continues to recover from his illness!

Prayer is the most essential work of our ministry and fruitfulness to God. Come join us as we praise God for His excellence and ask for His mighty hand to lead this school and change hearts for all of eternity. Without prayer, our work is arrogant and will only bear bad fruit (John 15:5). Let us humbly and diligently seek and come together in one accord and do the greatest thing we can do––pray.

Congratulations to Luke Buesser, a USCO junior who has received the Colorado School of Mines Medal of Achievement in Math and Science. This award is given to juniors throughout Colorado who have excelled in math and sciences.
May 6 – Payment due via FACTS for the remaining balance of enrollment fees.
May 15 (approximately) – Watch for your 2019-20 FACTS tuition agreement to be delivered to you via email.
June 1 – Beginning of 2019-20 Tuition Payments via FACTS.

Teacher Brunch & Gift Shop – Thursday, May 16
Breakfast will be served in both the Butler and Elementary buildings for our teachers to enjoy at their convenience. Also, we want to set up a special gift shop full of items that a teacher might like so each one can browse and choose something(s) that will be a blessing to them. The school administration will be providing items but families are welcome to contribute towards this as well!

Hello USCO families,
Hard copies of secondary class schedules for 2019-2020 were provided in the family boxes on Tuesday, April 30 for your review. Should you need to make any changes to your student’s schedule, the Add/Drop window is open from April 30th until May 9th. Please access the link via the button below to request an Add/Drop before the deadline.
As a reminder, we offer one FREE Add/Drop request per student for the 2019-20 school year. After one request, each additional Add/Drop throughout the year will cost $10, which will be charged to FACTS.
The next secondary chapel will be on Thursday, May 16 at 8:30. Students enrolled in 1st period classes are required to attend and all other students are encouraged to come as well.

The USCO Crush HS Boys, HS Girls and JH Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee Teams will be competing at the Altitude Youth league state tournament on May 11-12th. More details will be coming soon but we invite you to join in the fun and come support our students as they compete in this annual tournament!
The elementary grades will be having their last chapel of the year on Thursday, May 9 at 8:30 in the chapel.
The 5th grade will be unveiling their legacy art project and then the Kindergarten, 3rd and 4th grades will be giving a special presentation about thankfulness that you won’t want to miss!
As always, all parents are welcome to attend but we are especially asking that if at all possible, at least one parent be present for students from the Kindergarten, 3rd and 4th grades. Please bring some tissues and be prepared to start your day with a bunch of warm fuzzies!
Hello upcoming 6th grader parents,
Yesterday we hosted an introduction to 6th grade meeting. I know that a number of our families were unable to attend so I have attached the meeting’s agenda. One key issue that was brought up was the timing of when we reveal which 6th grade section your student will be in. Again, we have two 6th grade sections, led by Kim Hoekert and Kari McCabe. In the past, we sent an email before the end school ended informing families which teacher they had. However, last year this caused some drama amongst the students. In order to prevent that, we have decided to postpone announcing which teachers your student will have until after school is let out. If you have further questions regarding this or any other general 6th grade questions, please let me know.
