Prayer Request UPDATED: Schafer Reichart

Thank you for your prayers for Schafer as he continues to recover from his illness!

Here is a recent update written by Beth Reichart, his mother:
Schafer has had the desire lately to be busy ! Motivated to get his English credit done at home, and still enjoyed some brother time fishing, playing putt putt , hanging with friends, working out, and watching NBA. We are thrilled to see him enjoy life.

PRAISES recently include :
Cutting down on the feeding tube to only 500 calories at night… this only takes 2 hours ! (Pray for appetite and keeping weight on … he’s fluctuating a little between 135-137, but still very good !)

Increased activity besides PT. He still needs a lot of rest, but he loves to be active! (Pray for a hematologist appt this week that he can get completely off blood thinners so he can start scrimmaging during open gyms.
